Processing Time

At InStitchesbyImogen, everything is designed by me, Imogen. I'd love to say I do everything all by myself but I get a lot of help from my suppliers and processing partners.

My home is (currently!) too small to design, stock, box and post out all the products I possibly have. That's why my Print on Demand partners are on hand to make your orders especially for you, and send out on my behalf. One day I'd love to take full control, but we're not there just yet. Purchasing a little something from my store does get my one step closer, so for that I am forever grateful!

Different products may be processed by separate suppliers, and so may take longer. The usual processing time is 2-3 business days (i.e. Monday-Friday.) Orders are not manufactured on weekends or holidays, but are often shipped and delivered Saturdays.

Please be aware that in busy periods (i.e, Christmas), the postal services may be experiencing a high volume of orders, and delivery may be delayed by a few days. If you have not received your order 10 working days after it was notified as shipped, please get in contact at institchesbyimogen@gmail.com

UK Shipping

Most orders are posted via Royal Mail RM48. You will receive a tracking number upon shipping which can be used to track your parcel. 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Due to certain products being manufactured at different facilities, you may be charged for postage more than once. If you think there is an error in your postage cost, please contact me.

International Shipping

I ship to the US, Canada and Australia. The above processing times are relevant to orders made outside of the UK.

Most orders are posted with Royal Mail in the UK and transferred to the localised relevant postal service of your country. All international orders are sent tracked. You will receive a tracking number upon shipping which can be used to track your parcel.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Due to certain products being manufactured at different facilities, you may be changed for postage more than once. If you think there is an error in your postage cost, please contact me. 

Customs, Duties and Taxes

InStitchesbyImogen is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer. Duty fees and taxes will be collected at checkout in line with the custom laws in your country. I am not responsible for any delays due to customs.

Damages

InStitchesbyImogen is not liable for any products damaged or lost during transit. If you received your order damaged, please contact me for a replacement or refund at institchesbyimogen@gmail.com

Please take photos of the damaged goods and any packaging material before filing a claim. 

EU

Unfortunately, I am unable to send orders to countries in the EU (including Northern Ireland) at this point, due to the GPSR brought out December 13 2024. 

Sustainability

I try to be as eco-conscious when sourcing products and suppliers, and how they ship their products. All my products are currently shipped sustainably. The vast majority of items are shipped plastic free in recyclable envelopes, parcels or tubes.

The greeting cards and postcards are delivered in biodegradable cellophane bags. These can be disposed of in your food waste, compost or garden waste bin. We are looking to post these plastic free in the future, but for now they are a sustainable way to ensure they are delivered safely to you.
