Welsh costume is a symbol of Welsh culture. Revived by Augusta Hall, heiress of the Llanover Estate, in the late 19th-century, the dress is a symbol of the Welsh people. It's based on the clothes of working-class women in the 19th century but the tall black hat (a staple piece of the whole attire), still confuses historians as to its popularity.
Left blank inside for your own message, and supplied with a kraft envelope.

Sustainability
Sustainability
Sustainability goes hand in hand with handmade crafts, so that's why I always try to do my best when I design my products.
I print my greetings cards on 100% recycled cardstock using an inkjet printer.
I make sure to only print cards after you've placed an order, to minimise wasted stock! Using an inkjet ecotank printer also means I refill my ink from bottles (so I'm not disposing of cartridges all the time), and I'm saving on ink in the long run, because it uses a sustainable amount to print, without compromising on quality
Cards are posted plastic free, wrapped in a bow of yarn, and send in a 'DO NOT BEND' envelope with an additional 100% recycled brown kraft envelope.

Every piece in this collection is curated from a 'rabbit hole' of historical research. As a Heritage Illustrator & Craft Researcher, I rescue the weird, wonderful and hidden histories of fibre arts; translating them into accessible tools and art for the modern creator. When you choose an InStitchesbyImogen piece, you are helping to keep these historical narratives alive.
